Radiation Oncologist
Dr Prakash Patel, MD
Dr. Patel is a board certified radiation oncologist who was trained at the University of Maryland and SUNY (State University of NY-Syracuse). He completed his fellowship at Boston University in Boston,MA. He has been practicing radiation oncology at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth for 15 years. He is very well qualified to use the newest radiation technology.

Fadi Hayek, MD
He is the medical oncologist who is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine. He received schooling and training at Michigan State University and completed his fellowship at the University of Louisville.

This is the professional who is responsible for all administrative work at the cancer center including billing and patient inquiries regarding care. Linda will also assist patients with radiation oncology billing issues, help to maintain patient’s medical records, and assist with the scheduling of appointments.

Barbara Evans, MS DABR
Barbara Evans is certified by the American Board of Radiology in radiation physics and received her Master of Science in Medical Physics from the University of Kentucky.

Dosimetrists
Chrystal Jenkins, RT(R)(T)(CT), CMD
Received AAS in radiologic technololgy and BIS in health management in 2001 from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth Oh. Chrystal received her AAS in Radiation Therapy from the University of Cincinnati in 2003. She received her certification as Medical Dosimetrist in 2006 from the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board. Chrystal is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy, Computed Tomography, and Diagnostic x-ray.

Jeremie received his AAS in Radiation Therapy from the University of Cincinnati in 2007. He is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy. Jeremie is also certified as Medical Dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board.
